FastHisaab is private by design. This policy explains what data the app handles and where it lives.

Overview

  • FastHisaab is built to keep your financial data on your device.
  • No account signup or bank linking is required.
  • We do not run a cloud service that stores your transactions for everyday use.

Data we store on your device

  • Your transactions, accounts, debts, loans, contacts, and settings stay on your phone.
  • Amounts, notes, and dates you enter remain local unless you export them.
  • Biometric lock uses your phone's built-in security - we do not store your fingerprint or face data.

Data we do not collect by default

  • We do not ask for your name, email, or phone number to use the app.
  • We do not connect to your bank accounts or read your SMS messages.
  • We do not upload your ledger to our servers during normal use.

Backup and import

  • You can export a backup file of all your data from Settings → Data.
  • The file is created on your device and goes only where you save or share it.
  • Import replaces local data only when you pick a file and confirm.
  • We do not receive your backup unless you send it to us (for example, for support).

Biometric lock

  • If enabled, the app uses Face ID, fingerprint, or your device passcode.
  • We do not store or send your biometric information.
  • Your phone handles all authentication.

Support and communications

  • If you email us or use in-app support, we only see what you choose to send.
  • Avoid sharing sensitive financial details unless necessary.
  • We use your message only to help with your request.

Future analytics or crash reporting

  • The current version does not include third-party analytics or crash reporting by default.
  • If we add optional tracking later, we will update this policy and explain what is collected.
  • Any future collection will be disclosed before or when it is introduced.

Your choices

  • You can delete all local data using Reset app in Settings.
  • Uninstalling the app removes its data from your device.
  • You decide whether to create, keep, or share backup files.

Children

  • FastHisaab is not intended for children under 13.
  • We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

  • We may update this Privacy Policy when the app or our practices change.
  • The “Last updated” date at the top shows the latest version.
  • Important changes will be described in this document.
